The index.comunicación magazine closes 2021 by entering Scopus

After a year of celebrations and multiple events such as the recent awards ceremony, the scientific journal index.comunicación has been positively valued by the Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB) to access its prestigious database

The Scopus council has highlighted in its evaluation that the content of its articles is consistent with the communicative field, responding to the needs and high demands of researchers in this area of ​​knowledge.

 

After ten years of editorial work, they close a cycle in the journal's indexing processes, an achievement celebrated by the academic community of the Rey Juan Carlos University, the study house in which this publication was born. In this sense, Belén Puebla Martínez, chief editor of the publication, points out that they have been working hard to be among the reference magazines. Likewise, she indicates that the idea of ​​the editorial team is to maintain and ascend in the quartiles of this database.

 

10 years climbing in evaluation systems and databases

In ten years the magazine has managed to steadily climb in prestigious databases. In 2020, it obtained the renewal of its research quality seal in FecytAs has been customary for several years, after having obtained the Emerging Citation Index (EXIT).

 

As a whole, the journal has managed to be indexed in 16 evaluation systems and various databases, reaching values ​​such as Q2 in Dialnet Metrics, relevant portal of scientific production in Social Sciences and Humanities. With this evaluation, index.comunicación entered the scales of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) to be cataloged as a level 2 journal.
