Students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences celebrate their big day at the 2022/2023 graduation ceremony

The ceremony, held on September 21 and 22, became one of the most special moments in the lives of the recently graduated students. They were accompanied by their teachers and representatives. The Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Rafael Gómez Alonso, wished them that “their future work dreams come true.” Professor Carmen Caffarel, who retired this year after a lifetime dedicated to university teaching, said goodbye to her through an emotional and moving speech. The aforementioned Gerardo Sánchez, a graduate in Image Sciences and with a long career as an editor, director and television presenter, served as sponsor of the first day.

The Vice-Rector of Campus Community, Culture and Sports, Mercedes del Hoyo Hurtado, congratulated the students congratulated the students on their big day during the second day of celebration. Ángeles Blanco, journalist, editor and television presenter at Mediaset, and journalist and writer Ana Iris Simón served as godmothers. “They wanted me to be an engineer and in the end I was a pure writer,” the first one said proudly.
