The exhibition “Women researchers in communication sciences: from invisibility to recognition” arrives at the URJC from April 8 to 19

The FEMICOM exhibition is responsible for analyzing the main researchers in communication sciences. It arrives at the Palm Room of the Fuenlabrada Campus library from April 8 to 19.

Led by FEMICOM, the Department of Journalism and Corporate Communication and the Mediation and Communication Research Group (GUIMEDCOM), the exhibition "Women researchers in communication sciences" is located in the Palm Room of the Campus Library of Fuenlabrada of the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid from April 8 to 19.

In it, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history and contributions of the researchers studied in FEMICOM, a project that collects the testimonies and experiences of some of the most outstanding academics in communication sciences of the second generation in the international arena.

In addition, on April 19, at 12:30 p.m., in the same room, a closing ceremony will take place by Leonarda García Jiménez, IP of the FEMICOM project, Pilar Charro Baena, Director of the Equality Unit of the URJC, Gloria Gómez-Escalonilla Moreno, Director of the Department of Journalism and Corporate Communication, Patricia Izquierdo Iranzo, Coordinator of the Mediation and Communication Research Group (GUIMEDCOM), and Juan José Sánchez Soriano, curator of the exhibition.
