The teachers Tomas Zarza y Miguel Sanchez-Moñita (Drawing area), of the Investigation Group CUVPAC have participated in the seminar ““Landscape of the Hispanic Worlds: Memory, Factory and Politics” organized by the EMHIS research team of the LISA laboratory of the Gustave Eiffel University of Paris. La conference took place at the prestigious School of Spain in the University City of Paris and talked about the idea of human uprooting from the natural environment and analysis of this dysfunction from an artistic perspective.

“The experience has been extremely satisfactory. we have been able share our ideas about landscape from an artistic perspective with teachers from various fields "that has brought added value to this seminar" indicates the Professor Zarza. The Group directors Daniel Lecler and Enmanuel Vincenot were surprised by the focus of the talk and they highlighted the interesting nature of the proposal. In this line andProfessor Sánchez-Moñita highlights the importance of seeking meeting spaces between university professors that help rebuild European ties, which are increasingly deteriorating.. “It is very important to exchange our ideas with colleagues from the rest of the continent, but even more important is to strengthen human and professional ties between the people who live in Europe,” he comments.

The conference also he reflected, through the work of a multitude of image artists about how the human being has constructed himself in a continuous process of misadaptation with his natural environment and adaptation with the artificial supra environment that he himself has created through culture and technology. However, scientific knowledge of the internal structure of nature has allowed not only the technological control of natural processes from within but also the artificial reproduction of those natural processes. Ultimately, the Technology products are integrated into reality as if they were a natural integral part.

La professor at the Parisian university, Marie-Blanche Requejo also rHe reflected on the importance of analyzing how power structures have also been reflected throughout history in the construction of the landscape.. The event provided a unique platform for the exchange of ideas about the complex interactions between humanity, art and nature in the vibrant urban context of Paris.
