Last Saturday, March 16, 931 students participated in the Madrid Economics Olympiad, as the local phase of the XV Spanish Economics Olympiad and which was celebrated in the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences of the URJC, becoming a meeting point for future leaders of the economic and business world. The competition, sponsored by the Autonomous University of Madrid, the Rey Juan Carlos University, the Complutense University, the University of Alcalá and the Carlos III University, invited 2nd year Baccalaureate students from Madrid and neighboring provinces to demonstrate their knowledge and analytical skills in Economics.
The event is not only an academic competition that seeks to foster interest in economics among young people, but also acts as a link between secondary and higher education, promoting excellence and innovation. Participants had the opportunity to face challenges that evaluated their understanding and application of economic concepts, in an environment that rewarded effort and academic excellence.
