The professor of Civil Law at the URJC, Javier López-Galiacho Perona, joined this past Monday as a full academician in the Royal European Academy of Doctors in an event held in the main hall of the CEU San Pablo University in Madrid and chaired by its Rector, Rosa Visiedo.

López-Galiacho, PhD in Law cum laude from the Complutense University of Madrid, read his speech on "Sustainability and business ethics: from stories to accounts", which was answered excellently by the vice president of the Academy, Dr. Aldo Olcese .
 
Javier López-Galiacho took advantage of his experience in the business world in the management of sustainability and business ethics to demonstrate how in recent years this area of ​​business management has gone from voluntary to legal or mandatory.

Previously, López-Galiacho was invested as an academic by the president of the Royal Academy, Dr. Rocafort, receiving the medal from this high academic institution that was founded in 1914 in Barcelona and which has more than 20 Nobel Prize winners among its academics. 
 
Dr. Rocafort highlighted the academic, cultural and business merits of López-Galiacho, whom he defined as a "complete humanist." 
 
López-Galiacho, who took his first steps as a teacher at the CEU, has been a professor of Civil Law at the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences of the URJC since 2002, having been a direct disciple of the professor of Civil Law at this University, José Pérez de Vargas, who already incorporated it in 1998 when it was the Ramón Carande Center.
 
Among other business, political and academic authorities, Javier López-Galiacho, from Albacete by birth, was supported on such an important day by the Minister of Digital Transformation and Public Function, his countryman José Luis Escrivá, as well as by the president of the Provincial Council of Albacete.
