The Former President of the Senate, Mr. Ander Gil, has visited the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences of the Rey Juan Carlos University, located on the Madrid-Vicálvaro Campus, where he has interacted with students of the Degree in Political Science and Public Management. This meeting is part of a series of teaching innovation activities promoted by teachers Mercedes Alda and Daniel Casal from the Political System II subject.
The day began with an institutional meeting between the Former President and the Dean of the Faculty, María Enciso Alonso-Muñumer, who received him in the Dean's Office. Subsequently, Mr. Gil went to the Departmental Building to hold an extended meeting, lasting more than two hours, with the students of the Madrid-Vicálvaro and Fuenlabrada campuses. During this time, he shared details about his career in Spanish politics and answered questions from students about current topics such as the reform of institutions and the role of former Presidents of the powers of the State in the current political system.
These types of events underscore the Faculty's commitment to practical teaching and exposing its students to prominent figures in the political sphere who can share valuable experiences and knowledge about public management and governance.
