The XNUMXst International Conference on Minors and Social Media: Present and Future Challenges in Advertising and Entertainment Content will be organized by the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the URJC, to address the challenges that society faces in the face of the media digital.

The main objective of the event is to reflect on the role played by young people and social networks, as well as the massive consumption of content both on networks and on platforms that develop various online business models.

Due to the advancement of new technologies, minors have become the main consumers of online content. As a result, many lucrative businesses and services have sprung up through online content, yet the danger to the people who consume or create it is very high.

For this reason, the I International Congress on Minors and Social Media intends to discuss and show what minors face and the challenges that must be faced by analyzing the vision of the Public Administration (INCIBE), from different communication associations and minors (AUC, ICMEDIA, Emtallados and Gaptain) and specialized in legal and self-regulatory matters (Autocontrol and IAB), as well as different professionals from the industry and researchers from different universities specializing in this subject.

The event will be held online as a security measure against Covid-19, and will be aimed at both university students, researchers and professionals, as well as anyone interested in attending the Congress. Register
