On March 21 and 23, the Workshop on Presentation and Direct Newscasts on Television, which was given by the coordinator of the Andalusian delegation of Informativos Tele5, Laura García Herranz. The theme of the workshop is framed within the subject of Television News Production, taught by Professor Victoria Mora de la Torre. These sessions, which have lasted 12 hours, have allowed students of different degrees to carry out voiceover practices for pieces and live performances, simulating a professional context. The students have also had the opportunity to learn about the workflow present in a newsroom, as well as the work carried out by the delegations, or the formal and practical aspects to address direct production, among other activities carried out. In this sense, the workshop has offered an opportunity for URJC students to get closer to the way in which professional practice and routines are developed in the field of communication sciences.
