New Occupational Risk Prevention courses for research projects

Between October and December 2023, the URJC Occupational Risk Prevention Service launches three training courses for PIs and research project managers in order to guarantee safety and prevention of occupational risks in research projects.

One of the objectives of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers ("Human Resources Strategy for Researchers", HRS4R), implemented at the URJC since 2020, is to promote and ensure that research staff carry out their research activity in the most optimal conditions possible. , ensuring your safety at all times. In this context, the Occupational Risk Service launches three new training courses to guarantee the safety of the development of research projects. With a duration of 5 hours each, the three courses are aimed at principal investigators (PIs) and research project management staff, and will be developed in mixed mode (in-person and online). 

As an initial training course, 40 places are offered in Preventive management of research projects at the URJC. Will start next Monday, October 16 (synchronous online sessions October 18 and 25 from 16:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m.). Through this course, research personnel will be able to learn the essential actions that may be needed during the development of a research project, such as, for example, in the event of an accident or emergency.
