Professor Kenia Del Orbe, special prize 'Gladiators Abroad 2018'

The fourth edition of these awards rewarded on Saturday, May 26, the professional career of the Communication teacher at the URJC. The event celebrated its fourth edition in Madrid and valued the work carried out by illustrious Dominicans like her at an international level.

Researcher, consultant, politician, broadcaster, journalist and actress. These are the professional facets of Kenia Del Orbe, who is also a professor of Corporate Communication at the Rey Juan Carlos University. The teacher was decorated at this gala with the 'Special Prize for Gladiators Abroad', in recognition of her international work as an expert in communication.

This award is for her "a motivation and an opportunity to continue working inside and outside of Spain in different areas". At the same time, Del Orbe has stressed the importance of these awards for "making visible and valuing the work carried out by Dominicans in different areas of knowledge." At the same time, she shows her satisfaction for the congratulations received from her fellow professionals at the University. And she expresses her "most sincere gratitude to the University" for giving her the opportunity "to be part of the faculty." For her "it is an honor", since this work allows her to "put at the service of her students the knowledge acquired throughout my training and professional career".

Now he anticipates that, with a view to the future, he intends to continue writing in high-impact scientific journals, attend congresses and research conferences, achieve accreditation from the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) and promote the political participation of the society.

The gala was held in the Halls of the Restaurant Las Estaciones de Juan in Madrid last Saturday and was attended by distinguished personalities from the world of communication. And in this fourth edition they paid tribute to women and children.
