Javier Gil Rojo was recognized with the 1st National End of Degree Award in Audiovisual Communication 2015/2016 in an act chaired by the Minister of Universities, Joan Subirats, who was in charge of closing the act, held at the National Music Auditorium, located in Madrid. At the event, the prizes corresponding to Javier's class and the one immediately following it were awarded: 2016/2017.

For Javier, this diploma “is recognition of the work and sacrifice that comes with being first. When you study you don't plan to be. You study like this because you only know how to do it that way”. Obtaining this excellent qualification has not been easy for Javier, "he studied and worked at the same time, being a scholarship holder at the URJC", he indicated.

Javier Gil Rojo is today a civil servant at the URJC and works in the International Relations service, “most of the winners have opted to work in the Academy or in the Administration. Acknowledging this achievement should be important. I have applied, but having those qualifications has not counted in the opposition either ”.

“One of the best in the Community of Madrid”

Gil Rojo only has good words about his time at the URJC, which stands out for being “a young university, with good quality facilities and materials. The best of the Community of Madrid. At the Rey Juan Carlos University, at least in Audiovisual Communication, there is a young faculty, but with experience and very proactive in what has to do with proposing academic and extracurricular activities. In addition, the training itinerary, being so diverse, helps you discover all the possibilities for professional development. Having studied at the URJC is a source of pride”.

Javier also does not hesitate to encourage those high school students who are now in the process of choosing a degree to choose the Rey Juan Carlos University, "we are a university that is growing a lot and fast and we have a very up-to-date faculty . In addition, the academic offer is very specialized and continues to grow as seen with the degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Communication. I also want to highlight the internationalization programs of the university, which are an important commitment”.

A sample of the high level of URJC students and the university's ability to retain the talent that is created in its classrooms.
