The jury has awarded its coverage, for the 'Diario de La Rioja', of a trial of a citizen from Logroño who stabbed five pedestrians in Lleida in 2014. The award, endowed with a prize of one thousand euros, serves to commemorate the figure of José Lumbreras Pino, the first qualified journalist from La Rioja.

The student of the URJC Business Administration and Management Degree, Iris Solera, has won one of the AECOC Academic Awards for her Final Degree Project (TFG). Her project under the title 'Sustainable development: an environmental vision applied to business' provides good examples of companies such as Ikea and Nestlé.
The professor of History of Ideas at the Rey Juan Carlos University, Carmen Iglesias, has been part of the jury that has just awarded the Tomás Francisco Prieto Medal Award from the National Currency and Stamp Factory-Royal Mint, to the sculptor Vicky Civera. Ana Vico Belmonte, director of the master's degree in Art Market Management, has also been a member of the jury.
More than 30 universities from around the world will participate in the delivery of the Humanist of the Year Award on November 23 at the University of Nuevo León, in Mexico.
