The management committee for the creation of the Spanish Academy of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences has been set up

The Management Committee is made up of Professors from the Area of ​​Physical and Sports Education, by the President of the COLEF Council of Graduates in Sports Sciences, by the President of the Spanish Conference of Faculties of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and by the President of the scientific society Spanish Association of Sports Sciences.

The constitutive meeting was chaired as host by Dr. Fernando del Villar Álvarez, President of the Spanish Association of Sports Sciences and University Professor at the URJC, and was attended by Javier Ramos, Rector of the URJC and Carmen Gallardo , Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, who have welcomed the attendees.

The teachers have been working on the Statutes of the Academy for its presentation to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports and the Institute of Spain, responsible for the management of the existing Academies in our country.
