'GameGen' brings the latest video games to the Móstoles Campus

On February 20 and 22, the conference 'GameGen' They give video game fans the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the sector. The event is organized by the association of students of the Video Game Design and Development Degree, Virtual Soul, and will take place at the Móstoles Campus.

For the third consecutive year, the Rey Juan Carlos University will be the focal point of Madrid's gamers. For three days, those who come to the Móstoles campus will be able to enjoy presentations and workshops related to the video game industry.

This year, according to Diego Sánchez Ramírez, a 2nd year student of the Video Game Design and Development Degree and president of the Virtual Soul association, contact between fans and industry will be expanded, "through networking sessions, in which attendees will be able to make contact with the speakers”.

In this 2018 edition, adds Diego, "we are going to dedicate a space so that companies can bring their game 'demos' and the public can try them". The 'demos' are parts of video games that companies prepare to be tested before going to market, which is an extra attraction for attendees.

Diego Sánchez hopes that this year the figures for last year will be exceeded, in which "we had between 180-200 people per day," he says. The sessions are open to all those interested in the world of videogames, and can also be followed live through the channel from Youtube of Virtual Soul.
