Around 2.000 high school students attend the fair today under the name of UNITOUR Madrid. Throughout the day, more than 40 Madrid universities and centers guide young people from 26 Madrid schools and institutes at the Novotel Madrid Center, located on Calle O'Donnell in the capital.
From 9:00 a.m. to almost 20:00 p.m., the centers set up their identification stands in this space. So, it is the boys and girls who approach them requesting information about the degrees and double degrees that they offer. Most of them still do not know what they want to do in the future or what their academic motivations are. That is why in this fair teachers and representatives of each center attend them in a personalized way and try to solve their doubts.
One of the most visited stands is that of the Rey Juan Carlos University. Here, professors from all the faculties fundamentally offer detailed information on the academic offer. But, in the most specific cases, they also provide information on the URJC's study plans, fees, scholarships and accommodation.
Mothers, fathers and educators also request information directly and, before the end of the event, anyone who wishes can go to get information freely and free of charge. In this XII edition, 5 scholarships will be raffled among the attendees that will allow the winners to fully pay for university tuition. The conference is organized by the consulting firm Círculo Formación and has the collaboration of the Community of Madrid.
