For León this is a “great opportunity because I have always liked Chinese culture and I have always wanted to travel to that country”, he indicated.

This student is already preparing the trip, "I have gone to renew my passport and I have had to sign a confidentiality agreement so as not to tell what I am going to see", he pointed out.

During your stay at the Huawei facilities, you will be able to learn about the most cutting-edge technologies that are currently being developed in the telecommunications sector.

León, along with 10 other 'tikers' (name of the students participating in this campaign) from other Spanish universities, will receive a complete training in innovation and technology at Huawei's headquarters. The technology company's headquarters are located in Shenzhen, a town very close to Hong Kong, "a city that we will also visit," he said.

In addition, during the 15 days of your stay, you will receive an intensive Chinese course. This language is not completely unknown to her since, as she has added, she has been "intermittently studying Chinese for a few months".

In order to become one of the 10 students who will travel to Beijing on the 6th, León has had to present, in addition to his CV and academic record, a video lesson in which he tells, in perfect English, the reasons why he wants to participate in this experience. The 10 'tikers' have been chosen from a total of 100 candidates.

The video has been made in the facilities of the Móstoles campus of the Rey Juan Carlos University and is directed and made by the team of the Academic Content Production Unit (UPCA) of Urjc online.
