The award-winning work explains the conception and operation of the educational application 'EnseñAPP'. This tool is a game made with augmented reality technology that allows boys and girls between 6 and 9 years old to consolidate concepts of subjects such as language, mathematics, English and science.

As explained by Tania Castellano, "the application is a question game of the three categories in which animations are used". “Each question adds 20 and each error subtracts 5. If you answer wrongly 3 times, you can change the question. This rule has been thought taking into account the age of the users”, she has indicated.

The award-winning TFG is entitled "Creation of an augmented reality educational application for the first cycle of Primary Education using the Vuforia SDK: EnseñAPP".

For Tania Castellano, "the application of augmented reality in this phase of training is very interesting since it has been proven that, through animations, it is possible to motivate students more".

Tania, who was not expecting the award, has indicated that "it is very gratifying to see recognition of a work to which I have dedicated so much time" and wanted to recall the guidance and support work of her tutor Liliana Santacruz Valencia, professor in the Department of Sciences of Computing, Computer Architecture, Computer Languages and Systems, and Statistics and Operational Research, from the ETSII.

Now that she is working, Tania Castellano would love to "collaborate with universities and colleges and present the TFG to other prizes or congresses". Also, she has indicated, "continue updating the app, adding categories and improvements".

The app can be downloaded from Google Play on mobile devices and has a page websites where you can find all the information about this educational tool.

The 'emadrid 2018 Awards' have recognized the value of different academic works (Doctoral Theses, TFG and TFM) related to the research or development of educational technologies.
