In the new MOOC of the renowned professor of Economics at URJC, Juan Carlos Aguado, 'Learn to make sound economic decisions', students will be equipped with the necessary tools to carry out an analysis of decision problems and make appropriate economic decisions. The course will take into account the information available, perfect or imperfect, and your position in the face of risk. The MOOC will also present the latest advances in decision-making from psychology, contributed by Nobel Prize winners in Economics.

It is a course intended for all audiences, although it is recommended to have very basic knowledge of mathematics.

Also, in economic matters, URJC online has started the 8th edition of the 'Fundamental Course of Macroeconomics' and the 10th edition of the 'Fundamental Microeconomics Course'. Both directed by Professor Aguado and available at Miriada X.

On the other hand, in the MOOC 'Empower yourself with Social Networks', Professor Oriol Borrás, a researcher in the field of digital identity and personal branding, will help students increase and improve their online presence and visibility.

The goal is for students to increase their career opportunities and broaden the scope of their academic and work achievements. This course can be taken through the Miriada X platform.

As pointed out by Natalia Esteban, Coordinator of the Center for Innovation in Digital Education: URJC online, “we believe that the topics of these new MOOCs can attract a large number of students”.

The third MOOC that URJC online will launch shortly, through its URJCx platform, is entitled 'The Royal Sites as a professional resource'. In it, the students will discover the Royal Sites as they had never been considered before. The course has an interdisciplinary approach. Through new technologies (Augmented Reality, 3D and videogames, among others), history and geography, students are given the opportunity to discover these emblematic places in the history of Europe and are taught to value them in fields such as cultural management, education or tourism marketing.

This MOOC will be presented at the next European Night of Researchers, which will be held in Madrid on September 28.

All these courses are developed by the Center for Innovation in Digital Education: URJC online.
