The program is aimed at women who are completing the last bachelor's or master's degree courses in the fields of Engineering and Architecture. It is a plan of accompaniment, advice and support for these young women who are about to finish their studies and enter the professional environment.

The program lasts approximately 6 months and is free. During this time, they will be advised by professionals from the Caja de Ingenieros Foundation, EDP Renováveis, Naturgy, Airbus, Legrand, Red Eléctrica de España, Telefónica, Praxair and Indra.

These mentors will help the students who participate in the program, answering their questions about professional life. In addition, they will advise the students when making their own decisions and will contribute to their integration into working life and the reinforcement of their technical vocation, encouraging them to eventually opt for leadership positions in their companies.

As part of the activity, the professionals will invite the students to visit their professional environment to stimulate their technical vocation and to get to know first-hand the day-to-day working world in their speciality.

Both the mentors and the mentees will have advice to record the progress of the sessions. At the end of the program, the students of the last course will have to answer a survey in which they evaluate the objectives achieved.

The presentation of the 'Mentoring' program for Engineering and Architecture students will take place next Monday, October 29 at 15:315 p.m. in the Aula Magna of Lecture Hall III on the Móstoles Campus. There, those interested will be able to know all the details about the program, as well as the instructions for registration. If you cannot attend, the presentation will be broadcast via streaming and can be seen in Room XNUMX of the Lecture Hall III of the Fuenlabrada Campus.
