“Publishing in the scientific community is not an easy task” begins by pointing out Juan Romero Luis, “terminology and such dense language also make reading and extracting information difficult” adds the researcher. These are the premises from which this innovative idea is born, why not approach scientific dissemination in another way more in line with the XNUMXst century?

"This video in itself is already an experiment, we want to see if the community, the younger researchers, accept this publication format, with a much more visual narrative language and a humorous tone" explains Romero. The video, which is barely three minutes long, is made in English with the aim of creating an international product that "opens up to society the possibility of accessing the information they are looking for more easily and from anywhere in the world," he says. the investigator.

This initiative is developed in collaboration with Manuel Gértrudix, program coordinator, and Daniel Barrera, in charge of audiovisual production, and was born from the research group cyberimaginary, made up of more than 25 experts and professionals from the URJC and the University of Castilla La Mancha. Thanks to the idea of ​​Juan Romero Luis, a graduate in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication at the Rey Juan Carlos University and currently a doctoral student at the same, this pilot program has also been published in the popular science magazine CinemaImageScience.
