The students of the degree in Cybersecurity Engineering at the Rey Juan Carlos University, a pioneering degree in Spain, have organized and taught a series of workshops with their professors with the aim of raising awareness among young people about the importance of cybersecurity. This initiative has been carried out in eight educational centers in the Community of Madrid and has been carried out with students of different ages: from 2nd or 3rd graders to ESO or high school students.

Firstly, during the month of February the workshops 'Are you sure you're sure?' aimed at older students: ESO and high school. In this activity, the students of the degree in Cybersecurity Engineering, voluntarily and supervised by their teachers, informed and informed the attendees of the risks they run as users of technology in relation to their security and privacy. An issue of vital importance in today's world.

According to feedback from students, families, centers and teaching staff, the workshops 'Are you sure you're sure?' they have been a complete success. Most of the institutes have requested the expansion of groups and that they be held again during the next course to continue with the work of raising awareness of the subject. In addition, the Rey Juan Carlos University has reached an agreement with the Fuenlabrada City Council to once again offer this workshop within the framework of the URJC School of Computational Thought, during the months of October and December of this year.

On the other hand, and as a complement to the 'Are you sure you're sure?' workshops, the activity 'Browsing and playing safely on the Internet' was carried out throughout the month of March. On this occasion, the talks have focused on students in the first years of primary school (2nd and 3rd) and their parents and have revolved around the same idea and theme as the previous program. These workshops have been a pilot to have a first contact with the little ones and see how they react to this type of experience with the aim of raising awareness and warning about the risks of the network. Since at the age of six or seven years is when children begin to navigate and enter the Internet to consume content, play online or to have their first experiences with social networks.
