From October 16 to 18, the II National Meeting of the National Association of Economics and Business Students (ANECOE) took place at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), at the Cuenca Campus, where the delegation of students attended of the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences. This association is defined as "an inter-university space for collaboration between Economics and Business students from Universities to jointly implement improvements, learn from each other and generate content of interest that helps students"

The delegation from our Faculty was made up of Miguel Franco Pérez, acting student delegate for the Economics degree, and Ainhoa Carpintero Sobrino, counselor of the Department of Business Economics for sector C of students. Miguel Franco highlights the event not only the amount of work generated, but also its usefulness for the students. "Our scholarship report will allow students to find out about all the scholarships they could access and were unaware of. The Delimitation of Degrees report offers pre-university students a guide to correctly choose which degree to study based on what they really want to learn. Our goal is to put order in the excess of information that we experience day by day and thus prevent students from making decisions based on prejudice or misinformation". Likewise, they also approved a position on schedules and academic calendar that, among other measures, calls for direct participation of the students in the preparation of these documents "because this allows for resolving in advance later problems such as overlapping or 'empty' hours in the middle of the school day”.

At the same time, three new projects have been started, one on the impact of languages on students, another on the professional opportunities of each degree and, finally, one on the possibilities of inter-university mobility that students can take. "These projects have come a long way and it is likely that in a couple of months the students will already have closed reports that will allow them to better orient themselves before, during and after their time at our faculties" points out Ainhoa Carpintero Sobrino.

The experience has been very positive for all parties and the work has been recognized by the Vice-Rector for University Extension of the UCLM, Mª Ángeles Zurilla, and the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Cuenca, Amparo Merino, who sentenced in the opening of the event: "It is a pleasure to see a group of students who really come to work, with the desire to improve the university and the university system in general", "You soak up information, you do not limit yourself to mere passive assistance".

We hope that this Meeting will have its continuity and its application to university life for the good of all those involved.
