The Virtual International Congress 'The transformations of the key concepts in different areas of legal and social knowledge' has brought together twenty Spanish and Latin American researchers.

The symposium has been the result of the cooperation of both universities and has been directed by the professor of the Criminal Law area of ​​the URJC, Carlos Fernández Abad, and by the professor Teresa Montalvo of the University of Veracruz.

At the event, the speakers shared opinions and critical arguments on several concepts "whose centrality is currently being questioned in the legal and social field", as stated by the organization. The contributions made at the Congress will be collected in a collective work that will be published in the coming months.

On behalf of the Rey Juan Carlos University, professors Julia Ropero Carrasco, Beatriz García Sánchez, Sandra López de Zubiría Díaz and Professor Carlos Fernández Abad.

The Congress was structured in an interaction based on questions and answers between the speakers, connected on both sides of the Atlantic, through online tools. Likewise, the session was recorded for later dissemination among the students of the two universities.
