VII EDITION OF THE GREAT COLLECTION "SOLIDARIOS WITH ALL THE LETTERS"
A student of the Faculty and also a volunteer and supervisor of one of the areas of the Food Bank, wishes to appeal to all members of the university community to collaborate with a good cause, it is for this reason that we collect below the letter that he has sent us and that is sure to be of great interest to many of you:
"This year I am the supervisor of one of the areas of the Food Bank (specifically Vallecas) and I have been collaborating with this association since I entered university more or less...
This VII GREAT COLLECTION CAMPAIGN is at a national level; namely, all the food banks in Spain will make the collection on November 22, 23 and 24.
Individually, I suggest or request that the campaign be disseminated (because it is clean and non-political) ... and that they may agree to participate as volunteers in the centers near the faculties or by calling the telephone number that is posted on the attached billboard. GADE students are interested in it because you learn to manage teams if you are the coordinator of a center... and at a general university level by collaboration, by cleaning up the campaign and being the engine of the neighborhoods where the faculties are located.
With that, the specific request that I want to convey to you is Inform you of the campaign on the web that exists for this purpose and that serves as a portal to sign up as a volunteer. This websites is granrecolecmadrid.org".
The Great Collection 2019 is based on two fundamental pillars: the necesidadand solidarity. Without volunteers and donors nothing would be possible. The help we receive from corporations, educational centers and institutions, which support with their corporate volunteering, is also invaluable. Also that of the media, giving diffusion throughout the campaign.
During the weeks before and until the Great Collection and the donation days, on November 22, 23 and 24, it is possible to register as a volunteer at:www.granrecolecmadrid.org or by calling 91-7651204 or 661085917.
