El Master's degree in Gender and Health provides comprehensive training in this field incorporating a new scientific space. In addition, it facilitates the preparation of projects, original works and systematic reviews, using a quantitative, qualitative or mixed methodology.

It is aimed at personnel with a Degree, Bachelor's degree and/or Diploma in: Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Dentistry, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Biology and Podiatry. It is taught by a multidisciplinary team from different Departments of the URJC, other Universities, Hospitals and Assistance Centers.

The Master is an online degree that makes the most current audiovisual media available to students through a virtual classroom with a Moodle platform. Performing, in most of their subjects, continuous evaluations, through critical readings, reflections, test-type exercises, preparing individual and group work.

The multidisciplinary nature of this master's degree gives its students a comprehensive perspective on this subject. In this way, in the two four-month periods that his training itinerary extends, such important and current issues related to this subject are addressed.

Among others, topics such as the situation of the theoretical framework of health and gender, the techniques and methodologies for approaching gender within different levels (biological, social, psychological, etc.), the realization of a research project in health and gender, the design and implementation of said project. In addition, aspects such as the fit of this discipline in the professional world and the legal and socio-economic framework in which it is developed will be addressed. It ends with a Final Master's Project, which may be the first step for a doctoral thesis.
