WIDS 2021 returns to Madrid by the Rey Juan Carlos University through MPLSAP

The conference is part of the Women in Data Science (WIDS) regional events promoted by Stanford University

La Universidad Rey Juan Carlos through the Master in Logistics Project Management SAP MPLSAP,will organize an online Seminar on April 16, 2021 from 16:20 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. in collaboration with Stanford University, within the initiative Women In Data Science (WIDS), whose objective is to inspire and give visibility to women who stand out for their exceptional work in the field of Data Science.

 

The conference will focus on the power of platforms to promote female careers in Data Management, and will be attended by directors of renowned companies such as Atos, Womenalia, everis and Eva Levy & Partners.

 

In the first part, we will be joined by Eva Levy, Managing Partner of Eva Levy & Partners, who will talk to us about the absence of women in STEAM careers, and María Teresa Ballestar de las Heras, Associate Director of Data Strategy at MSD, who will will explain the importance of including profiles of women in Data Science to create value. 

We will also have the presence of María Gómez del Pozuelo, Founding Partner and CEO of Womenalia, who will focus her speech on the usefulness of using platforms to help female entrepreneurship in Data Science.

 

After the break, Sandra Sans Estrada, Partner responsible for the global area of ​​infrastructure Services at Everis, and Mayte Hidalgo, Director of Strategy and AI at Everis, will talk about bias-proof Artificial Intelligence.

 

Finally, we will have a very interesting colloquium on the role of the University in the training and orientation of women towards careers focused on Data Science, moderated by the director of the Master in SAP Logistics Project Management of the Rey Juan Carlos University, Monica de Pablos Heir.

The Women in Data Science (WiDS) initiative aims to inspire and educate data scientists around the world, regardless of gender, and support women in this field. 

WiDS began with a conference at Stanford in November 2015.
