Today, many are unaware of the significant heritage value of historic gardens. A garden with these characteristics is one that has a defined architectural structure, and that also has transcendental relevance or a tradition in civilization. These spaces have reflected for many centuries the identity of the countries and are related to their surroundings, forming part of a whole.

The professor at the Rey Juan Carlos University, Cristóbal Marín Tovar, is aware of the importance of these spaces, and for this reason he has organized the “III Conference on Heritage and Culture: Historic Gardens”. With the collaboration of FEST-DIGITAL, different conferences and colloquiums will be held in which attendees will learn from the best experts.

In this activity, the various historical and cultural values of these complexes will be exposed, as well as reflection on what can be done to conserve these gardens, considered a natural and world asset.

The “III Conference on Heritage and Culture: Historic Gardens” will take place on October 21 and 22 at the Aranjuez Campus of the Rey Juan Carlos University. Both days will have morning and afternoon sessions, and will be held in the Assembly Hall of the Cuartel de Pavia Building.

Pending the recognition of credits for the RAC by the URJC, registration for this event is still open and attendance is totally free. You just have to access this link and fill in the fields with your data.
