The URJC is committed to sustainable development at the 'Smart Energy Congress'

The Rey Juan Carlos University presents its research on solutions for efficiency, new materials, transportation, tourism and health in cities with its participation in this benchmark event on energy efficiency.

The Rey Juan Carlos University and the Office of the Vice President for Innovation, Transfer and Relations with Companies participate in the 'Smart Energy Congress & Expo', the annual European congress of reference in energy efficiency. In it, the academic institution has presented solutions for efficiency, new materials, sustainability, transport, tourism and health in cities.

The Smart Energy Congress is an event attended by consultants, energy companies, technology industry leaders, startups, those responsible for large projects, R&D centers and universities, where different visions are shared and trends, challenges and opportunities to improve Energy Efficiency with the application of new technologies. The IFEMA Conference Center has hosted this past Wednesday and Thursday a space for debate on the challenges, trends and opportunities of the energy and digital transition.

The Rey Juan Carlos University, in its clear commitment to the development of research related to the SDGs, energy, materials and ICTs, leads areas of important scientific, social and economic relevance. Presents in this congress the paper on 'Smart Tourism, Intelligent Tourist Destinations: Innovation and Sustainability', by the professor of the URJC, Cristina Figueroa Domeq. For its part, the CEI 'Intelligent Energy' together with Cinttec, exhibit the technological offer of the Rey Juan Carlos University at Stand number 7 of the EXPO area.
