A meeting to learn more about Environmental Law

The Ecotopía university association organized, on November 11 and 12, a conference to shed light on the climate crisis and its possible solutions.

Talking about climate change is talking about the impact of the environment on our day to day. As is well known, human beings are closely related to our environment, since the Earth is the home where we live. For this reason, it is mandatory to know more about the climate crisis and the measures to stop global warming and thus stop this phenomenon.

For this reason, Ecotopia Association, together with the Iuris association, have organized a conference on November 11 and 12. As the organization tells us, "the objective of this meeting has been to raise awareness of the importance of environmental law for the climate and biodiversity crisis."

Different students and professionals with an interest in Law or the Environment have gathered at the URJC Campus of Móstoles. This meeting has served so that "those present there complete their training in environmental law, since it is often forgotten within our subjects", they affirm from Ecotopía.

This event was born as a result of the collaboration between IURIS URJC and Ecotopia Association. "We got in touch to create a conference that included the interests of the associates of both entities", comment the organizers of the conference.

The event, which has been 100% face-to-face, had as its most outstanding part that all the conferences maintained in common the great relevance of legislation and administrative management to fight against the climate crisis. In addition, as explained by Ecotopía, "the speakers have been both professors specialized in some subject related to law or the environment, as well as public officials from SEPRONA who know first-hand the relevance of environmental management."
