The Rey Juan Carlos University, in order to facilitate the study of its students, has made the decision to open, for the first time and, at the same time, the libraries of its five campuses: Alcorcón, Aranjuez, Fuenlabrada, Madrid and Móstoles. The libraries will open from November 29 to January 22 from 09:22 to 24:25, Monday to Saturday. They will be closed on December 31, 1 and 5 and January 6, XNUMX and XNUMX.
"The reduction in capacity due to the health situation and the demand, for a long time, by students, have prompted us to take this measure," says Magdalena Nebot, director of the URJC Library (BURJC).
Until now, only the libraries of the Madrid campuses were opened for study and, alternately, the rest. With this measure, in addition to providing a study space for students on all campuses, access to the URJC's bibliographic collections is expanded, different in each study center according to their specialization, for example: Alcorcon (Science of Health), Fuenlabrada (Communication).
In order to study in the URJC libraries, it is compulsory to reserve the reading station and the group work rooms. The reservation is made through the following forms provided by the libraries: Alcorcón, Aranjuez, Fuenlabrada, Madrid y Móstoles. Subsequently, the reservation must be confirmed through an email that would be received in the single domain account of the URJC. After confirmation, you must validate the reservation in any of the QR that is in the access, show it to the staff and go to the reading point
In the case of the rooms, it is only necessary for one of the users to reserve and the reservation is validated directly in the QRs that are enabled in them.
A measure aimed at giving students more options for the upcoming exams.
