The challenges of Environmental Law return to the URJC

The challenges of Environmental Law return to the URJC The challenges of Environmental Law return to the URJC

In this new conference, Ecotopía and Iuris URJC will focus on International Environmental Law, affordable and sustainable housing and the daily life of an environmental lawyer.

Alberto Gomez Rodriguez

For a few years the environment has climbed to the top positions as one of the issues that most concern citizens. Know the legal measures that are being taken to stop climate change, and the different alternatives for a sustainable future, since this will affect our quality of life more than next.

To raise awareness about this issue, Iuris URJC and Ecotopía Asociación have joined forces once again to organize the second part of the “Conferences on Environmental Law”. The event will be held on February 2 at the Fuenlabrada Campus, and will serve to raise awareness among attendees about International Environmental Law and the challenge of sustainable and affordable housing.

The meeting, 100% face-to-face, will bring together students from all degrees and professionals from different branches interested in the world of the environment. In addition to the points to be discussed during the previous sessions, María Victoria Hormigos Fabeiro will give a conference explaining the day-to-day work of a lawyer specializing in environmental law.

This means that, once again, the "Conferences on Environmental Law" stand out in the quality of their presentations with people who know inside out the matters dealt with during the event. Without forgetting that those who come to the Fuenlabrada Campus to participate in this second collaboration of Ecotopía and Iuris URJC, will obtain 0.3 ECTS credits.
