The audience of the URJC's own media rises in 2021

The followers of all the social media profiles of the Rey Juan Carlos University have increased, being Linkedin the social network that has grown the most since December 2020.

In 2021, Rey Juan Carlos University has experienced a general rise in the audience of its own media. The corporate website de la URJC continues to be the most visited channel of all of them, reaching a total of 2021 visits in 11.177.601.

New web users have increased slightly, reaching a total figure of 2.838.957. For its part, the most visited news has to do with the improvement in the health situation thanks to vaccination and the consequent total return of face-to-face activity in the classroom.

The most viewed news item is 'The URJC is working to return to full presence in classrooms shortly', with more than 8.500 visits. It is followed by the piece on the research 'The benefits of physical activity in the prevention of Covid-19', which reached more than 7.000 visits; and 'The key dates for the start of the 2021-2022 academic year', with more than 6.600 views.

The typical profile of the website visitor is that of a woman between 45 and 54 years old, who lives in Madrid and whose preferred connection time is 12 noon.

Linkedin and YouTube, the channels that have grown the most

With regard to the social networks of the University, the channel of LinkedIn of the URJC is the one that experiences the greatest growth, going from 130.740 followers at the end of 2020 to 149.317 at the time this news is published, which represents an increase of 18.577 users.

It follows Youtube, which has gone from 43.600 followers at the end of 2020 to 55.500 today, an increase of 11.900 followers. With these figures, URJC continues to be among the 100 most influential universities in the world in this network, according to the YouTube University Ranking 2020. 

The third network that has grown the most during 2021 has been Instagram, with more than 3.392 followers. With this increase, the profile reaches more than 15.200 followers. For its part, Facebook experiences an increase of almost 3.000 followers, reaching a total of 45.939.

Finally, Twitter It goes from having 52.700 followers at the end of 2020 to 54.118 the day this news is published, which indicates an increase of 1.418 users. For its part, the URJC APP registered almost 72.077 active users throughout 2021, of which more than 97% were URJC students. 

These data confirm the constant and uninterrupted rise in all the social profiles of the Rey Juan Carlos University since 2017.
