The Summer Courses will return to the URJC for another year

The XXIII edition will be held from June 27 to July 8. The activities, which involve complementary and different training for students, will be free. This edition already has its official poster.

During the summer, the Rey Juan Carlos University does not stop. And it is that, for several years, students have taken advantage of the Summer Courses to continue training during their vacations. The twenty-third edition will take place on the different URJC campuses and online.

For Cristina del Prado, academic director of the Vice President for University Extension and organizer of the Summer Courses, "the university has to be a bridge between society and knowledge". That is why the programming of the 2022 edition will feature themes and issues that occupy and concern society. "The courses will feature leading experts from the fields of culture, science, politics, the business world...", says the organizer.

As the main novelty, the 2022 URJC Summer Courses will have some sessions at the Aranjuez Campus. So this location will once again take center stage during the two weeks from June 27 to July 8.

On the other hand, the poster for this twenty-third installment has been designed by Fernando Vicente. “This year marks the 25th anniversary of the University, and we wanted to commission the poster for the Courses from one of the most representative illustrators and painters in the national cultural sphere,” explains Cristina del Prado. For her, "Fernando Vicente is a person with a great professional career capable of reflecting what the Rey Juan Carlos University Summer Courses mean for the university community and society."
