This Friday afternoon there will be a conference with which, from the URJC, we want to analyze the interaction between the school and families in the educational process. This activity is the first initiative of the new 'School for Families' of the URJC Education Observatory, "an open space for communication and dialogue between all the actors involved in the educational process," says Professor Pilar Laguna, director of the Observatory.

The day, which has been entitled 'Relationship and communication between the educational community and families' wants to give a voice to all the actors of communication: Administration, educational centers, teachers, students and families. It will deal with the different forms and possibilities of participation in the life of the school, the limits of such participation and some positive experiences developed in various centers.

With this day and with the creation of the new 'Family School' “we want to contribute to making schools increasingly safe environments for growth and development”, says Pilar Laguna.

The event has been designed to attract anyone interested in educational issues, which is the same as saying, in the words of the URJC teacher, "interested in the future of the country." It will be a face-to-face event that will take place at the Fundación Botín facilities in Madrid, although it will also be possible to follow it by 'streaming' through the website of the Education Observatory.
