The latest in gaming fashion

The Madrid-Quintana Headquarters hosts today, April 1, the "XNUMXnd Video Game Costume Day", where it will be shown how the characters' outfits are not casual.

Fashion and video games are two terms that have always been closely linked. Choosing the color of the eyes or the size of the accessories that dress a character is essential when developing a video game. Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Marc Jacobs or Valentino are some of the brands that have worked to present their collections in these games.

From the degrees in Design, Video Game Design and Fashion Management they are aware that the digital world will change the fashion industry. For this reason, for the second year in a row, they organize the “Video Game Costume Day”. This event will bring participants a little closer to the aesthetic influence of video games, the software used for design, or the history and evolution of clothing in this field.

The day will be divided into two different parts. From 10:00 in the morning, the different talks will be held by the teachers of these grades. In person, you can attend in the Assembly Hall of the Quintana Campus, although you can also follow the platform Microsoft Teams. During the afternoon session, the "Video Game Costume Illustration Workshop" will be held, which can only be attended in person.

Although it is highly profiled for students of the Degree in Video Game Design and Development and the Degree in Fashion Design and Management, any student from another branch may participate in this event. Those who attend the day in full will receive 0,4 ECTS.

To participate in this activity, prior registration may be made through  this link or get more information at URJC Events
