The three programs that make up the 'Seal Month' cycle will serve to present all the progress made since last December in implementing the Strategy at the University. Throughout them, the results and tools produced for researchers within the framework of HRS4R will be delved into.

The broadcast of the programs can be followed from 11:00 a.m. through the platform TVURJC. In addition, it can be followed on social networks, through the hashtag #HRS4R.

Comprehensive initiative to support researchers

Among others, the University launched on February 10 a pilot program of mentors for researchers, the Euryclea program, to accompany them from the beginning of their professional careers and guide them in achieving their professional goals. For the same purpose, the evaluation program for contracted personnel in charge of research projects has been designed in parallel.

A Manual of Good Practices in Research and a Welcome Manual have also been prepared to facilitate the incorporation and integration of national and foreign researchers at the URJC. The PDI will also have the interactive Map of Research Lines tool to identify synergies between University research groups, in addition to the current OPE-CONNECT platform conceived as a channel that centralizes all information on international research (www.ope-connect.urjc.es). This platform facilitates the search for financing opportunities, events and partners to form consortiums, among others.

Both those responsible for the design and implementation of the different actions and multiple researchers from the University who are participating in them and have experienced some of the actions already implemented as users will participate in the programs of the cycle.

On December 10, 2021, the rector of the University presented the Strategy of the Seal 'Human Resources Strategy for Researchers' together with the vice-rector for Innovation, Transfer and Relations with Companies, Fernando García Muiña, and the vice-rector for Research, Visitación López Miranda Gonzalez.

The objective of this initiative is to attract and maintain scientific talent in Europe, promote the mobility of researchers, ensure a good work environment and promote the development of their professional careers. In addition, it also promotes employment and economic growth by establishing a competitive, transparent and open European scientific labor market.
