The Rey Juan Carlos University reopens the doors of its campuses to make future students and families aware of the academic offer and services of the institution. It will be in person, after two years of being held online due to the pandemic.
The event, organized by the faculties and schools of the URJC with the collaboration of the University Information and Orientation Service, will announce on May 13 and 20 the operation of the campuses, facilities, services and academic offer for the 2022-2023 academic year, both for Degrees and Double Degrees that can be studied in the different faculties and schools.
Pilar Serrano, from SiOU, says that this year there are three main novelties, in addition to the return of attendance. On the one hand, each school or faculty will organize its own open day, and not by campus; on the other, the programming is extended for another hour, from 17:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m. on both days; and, finally, there will be the participation of the student body, as well as teachers and coordinators of the degrees.
“The meetings will begin with a general welcome and the presentation of the faculty. The public will then be divided into specific groups based on common interests and will be guided through the facilities”, he adds.
Although some faculties offer the online modality to attend the conferences, "the true philosophy is that people come, walk around and get to know the faculties first-hand," explains Serrano, who assures that the broadcasts are designed for families from outside the university. Madrid's community.
