On the occasion of Europe Day, celebrated this past Monday, the rector of the Rey Juan Carlos University, Javier Ramos, presented the URJC-UE plan, "a comprehensive work plan for the internationalization of the university that we want to be transformative in order to achieve a better URJC and provide a better service”.

The presentation was made on video and in it, the rector was accompanied by the vice-rector for International Relations, María Luisa Humanes, and the vice-rector for Innovation, Transfer and Business Relations, Fernando García Muiña.

In this video, the objectives of the plan were analysed, among other issues, whose final goal is, as Javier Ramos points out, "to be a fundamental actor within the Europe that we need", the international position of the URJC, the actions already carried out and those to be carried out, including a mobility plan for European companies, the organization of visits to community institutions and the creation of a chair in Geostrategy and Geopolitics. In addition, the results of a survey on the EU, carried out on students, which revealed the marked pro-European character of the students, were commented on.

The URJC-UE Plan, as can be seen in the video, is a new example of the Rey Juan Carlos University's commitment to an increasingly integrated Union with its own voice in the international context.
