The Rey Juan Carlos University, the UAM and the UC3M have signed an agreement with the City Council of the capital by which they will publicize the possibilities of work and professional development that exist in said institution.

This agreement formalizes the Madrid City Council's public job offer dissemination initiatives that have been carried out since last year as part of the 'Madrid Talento' programme. The agreement will also allow "publicizing all the innovative projects carried out in the City Council", as explained by the Vice-Rector for Innovation, Fernando García Muiña. Among these initiatives, opportunities stand out in fields such as sustainable mobility or waste circularity.

For the 2022/2023 academic year, they want to hold more general and extensive dissemination and training sessions than last year, in which more than 300 students from various branches of knowledge signed up.

The agreement, in addition, points out the vice-chancellor “expands the lines of action with the City Council and consolidates that of labor insertion and professional development. It is a continuation of our external internship program in the council that is giving very good results according to the evaluations of students and teachers”.

In addition, this signature opens new ways of transferring knowledge. One of them is the training of City Council staff, part of the researchers and teachers of the URJC.

This reaffirms the commitment of the URJC to offer its university community new opportunities for employment and professional development in innovative fields.
