The itinerant exhibition presents the history, the present and the possible future of the institution through a digital sample that will travel through the campuses during this first term and that opens in Móstoles.

The Mostoleño campus is the first stop of the exhibition '25 anniversary. From tradition to innovation', with which the URJC wants to propose a digital and, in some cases, interactive journey, through its present, past and future, on the occasion of its 25th birthday. The exhibition opened yesterday, September 7, and will be installed on this campus until the 27th of this month.

Later, it will move to Alcorcón (September 29 to October 18), Madrid (October 20 to November 8), Fuenlabrada (November 10 to 30) and Aranjuez (December 2 to 22).

“It is an almost completely digital exhibition with a lot of information about the university, historical images, 3D images showing the evolution of the different campuses, pills with mini-interviews with the main researchers of the most innovative projects and those responsible for the associations of students”, explains Ana Vico, curator of the exhibition, professor at the Department of Business Economics and director of the Master's Degree in Art Market Management.

In addition, attendees will be able to interact with some of the exhibition proposals such as a 'virtual' hand or see how the cap and gown would look on them at their graduation in a very particular photo booth. Likewise, the exhibition contains a surprise, in the form of animation, that will not leave anyone indifferent. And, among other things, it will be possible to contemplate, in the only showcase of the exhibition, the respirator that the URJC developed in the worst of the pandemic.

The objective is to transfer the message contained in the Latin motto of the university 'Non nova, sed nove', which would be: not new, but in a new way. “A university that was born in the European tradition and evolved accompanying our students so that they learn in a more active way”, says Vico.

To bring the exhibition closer to the university community in general and to students in particular, the exhibition is located outside the Campuses. In Móstoles, for example, it will be possible to visit a facility located on one of the avenues that depart from the Management building.
