The teaching given in this course consists of technical and practical training in gardening and urban green solutions adapted to the reality of the Madrid context, as well as the acquisition of basic social and labor skills, ICT management for job search and entrepreneurship. of people with intellectual disabilities to promote their inclusion in the workplace.
This course, which will begin next Monday, October 3 at the Móstoles campus of the URJC, offers a comprehensive and personalized, sustainable and inclusive university education, as a University Extension Course in Urban Green Solutions, aimed at promoting autonomy and increase the chances of employability of people with intellectual disabilities. To ensure the quality of the training, the Unit for Attention to Persons with Disabilities and Special Educational Needs and the Green Office, services of the Rey Juan Carlos University, actively participate.
The registration period will be open from September 18 to 25 and the registration period will be from September 26 to 30. It will be necessary to carry out an interview and an aptitude test, for which the course coordinator will contact the candidates.
The development of this course is possible thanks to funding from the ONCE Foundation and the European Social Fund, favoring free training.
