The level, in this case of an intermediate nature, will appear reflected in the course certificate and will allow companies to quickly ascertain the digital knowledge of the students in order to hire them.

According to Lourdes Meléndez, URJC's Vice-Rector for Continuing Education, "this is a great opportunity for students to acquire knowledge in digital matters, while continuing to train in their respective degrees. This initiative will improve their employability and skills within of the current job market. In addition, Meléndez wanted to highlight the low price of the courses, which "thanks to financial aid from the Community of Madrid, they are offered at €500, compared to the €2000 that this type of training usually costs."

The courses can be taken voluntarily while studying university education, once 50% of the credits of the Degree have been completed, and also during the following 12 months after graduating. It can be taken at any of the university centers of the Community of Madrid, whether public or private.

In addition, for students who cannot afford it, the Community of Madrid will allocate one million euros to offer the course for free. Similarly, universities and other companies will offer aid to students with a socioeconomic scholarship.
