The Rey Juan Carlos University has participated in the 32nd edition of the EAIE (European Association for International Education), the largest international education event in Europe. The meeting was held this Thursday in Barcelona, ​​with more than 6.200 participants from around the world. The Deputy Minister for Universities, Science and Innovation of the Community of Madrid, Fidel Rodríguez Batalla, the Rector of the European University, Elena Gazapo, on behalf of CUPRIMA, together with the Rector of the URJC, Javier Ramos, discussed the strengths of the Madrid's university system and its attractiveness for attracting international students and researchers.

In his speech, the rector, Javier Ramos, highlighted the commitment of Madrid's public universities to internationalization in the offer of undergraduate and postgraduate studies, emphasizing that "one of the characteristics that define the Madrid university system today is the participation in the European Universities program of the European Commission, since Madrid has become one of the regions with the most consortiums of this type”.

The Rey Juan Carlos University regularly attends this fair with its own exhibitor at SEPIE's 'Study in Spain' stand. "It is a fundamental forum in which agreements are formalized with other partner universities that translate into exchanges of students and professors," remarked the Vice-Rector for International Relations Maria Luisa Humanes, who was also present at the conference.
