From 9:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. at the Vicálvaro campus of the URJC, the sessions 'Sharing Law with the Legal Clinic' are organized.

“This conference has been organized with the aim of inaugurating the academic year at the URJC Legal Clinic, making its activities known to the university community, especially to students and professors of legal sciences, and to society in general, especially , to the people involved in the work carried out by the third sector” explains Marta M. Albert Márquez, professor of Philosophy of Law and director of the Legal Clinic.

The conference consists of three panels, and will feature almost twenty speakers, mostly from the entities with which the Foundation collaborates.

The first panel is dedicated to making visible the advisory tasks carried out by the Foundation. The second is entitled "Easy Law", and it will deal with initiatives related to the protection of the rights of people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Finally, the third panel is dedicated to the legal literacy tasks carried out by the foundation, through which it is intended to bring the right to people who are unaware of it, making it understandable and allowing the most vulnerable groups to know their rights. rights and can exercise them.

"We would especially like to reach the youngest students, and awaken in them the sensitivity towards problems related to social justice and the protection of the most vulnerable people in society" says Marta M. Albert Márquez.

This Foundation is a space for academic training and university social responsibility, where the University's commitment to defending the rights of people and groups in vulnerable situations is made clear.

After attending this event, 0.25 ects will be recognized.
