The 'To' Market returns to Aranjuez The 'To' Market returns to Aranjuez

On October 7 and 8, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Aranjuez hosts, for the third consecutive time, El Mercadillo de 'To' (MDT).

During these two days, the objective is to liven up the weekend through a cultural activity for young people outside the center of Madrid, with the following times on both days: from 12:00 in the morning to 21:00 in the afternoon.

The event is organized by students from various artistic branches of the Aranjuez campus and aims to provide an opportunity for new artists, both from the university and external, to make themselves known. Specifically, the URJC degrees that organize this market are the degree in Fine Arts, the degree in Integral Design and the double degrees that combine with these two degrees.

According to Eva Fernández, student of the Double Degree in Fine Arts and Integral Design and organizer of the event, this weekend “we will have around 28 different stalls every day, which means approximately 60 artists a day. I have to say that it was very difficult to choose those 28 positions since we have more than 90 registrations in this edition.”

With regard to past editions, Fernández describes them as "a real success". “We managed to generate in Aranjuez exactly what we wanted: a space dedicated to art and the fanzine where everyone had a place. This is our 3rd edition and I can say that we still have the same spark and desire to improve ourselves that we had in the first one, I suppose that is what makes us so special”, he comments.

From the organization, they encourage everyone to come and enjoy this meeting, which becomes an important event for art fans where young talent, the URJC itself and the pool of artists that is being generated are made known. in her.
