Around 18:00 in the afternoon, on the Móstoles campus, 120 ETSII students gathered to say goodbye to their university stage.

About 385 attendees were present at the graduation ceremony that the ETSII, along with nine students from the School itself, had prepared. Several important personalities also attended the graduation: Carlos Cuesta, vice-rector for teaching staff and professor at the school, Iván Sánchez López, Chief Information Security Officer at Sanitas, David Marco Freire, Resources Security Lead and Industry X security Lead at Accenture, and Alberto Barrientos Álvarez, general director of the Institute of Knowledge Engineering.

In this act there was also room for emotional words, which emerged from the hand of Abraham Duarte, director of the ETSII, "I want today, therefore, that my words be congratulations and thanks to the students who graduate today. I want to congratulate you for the combination of knowledge that you have acquired during your studies and that, now, you must return with a deep ethical sense to society as a whole”.

During the two hours of graduation, the best academic records were also recognized. Both Gael Rial Costas and Celia Merino Valladolid, both with a double degree in Video Game Design and Development, obtained this precious achievement.

“When they wrote to tell me the award for the best record, I couldn't believe it. I felt very happy and cried when I remembered how in the past I doubted myself when I thought that I could have made a mistake studying this degree, that perhaps it was too difficult a degree and I would not be able to finish it” said Celia Merino.

At the end of the graduation ceremony, which hosted the first promotion of the Cybersecurity degree in the Rectorate's assembly hall, a snack was held along with a photocall. In this way, all the recent graduates will be able to have a good memory of their last day at the university, including the former coordinator of the degree, Marta Beltrán, who was presented with a bouquet of flowers for her work at the university. .
