The training program, aimed at knowing and developing the entrepreneurial spirit, calls for its tenth edition to be held at the beginning of November.

On October 18, the registration period was opened to participate in the X Resident Entrepreneur, a training program for those students who want to undertake and learn. Based on online courses, this workshop aims to teach the basic concepts and tools of the world of entrepreneurship in order to apply them to business reality.

The program is organized by the Móstoles Business Incubator, as the result of a collaboration between the Móstoles City Council and the Rey Juan Carlos University. On this occasion, it does so by developing and framing the Resident Entrepreneur Program within the Science and Innovation Week, organized by the URJC's Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit. The event will take place online on November 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, 2022.

Despite the fact that, in a first stage, the format of the program was purely face-to-face, "in the context of the pandemic, the program was adapted to be developed online, which allowed us to optimize its development and provide training to a greater number of participants, on occasion up to 80”, says Pablo Ramírez, director of the Móstoles Business Incubator.

“The general objective of the program is to offer the participant a 360º vision of those basic aspects that every entrepreneur must take into account when starting their activity in the market, in the first stages of project development and in the process of transforming business idea to consolidation of the company”, comments Ramírez. "The added value of the program is the practical nature under which it is developed, a dynamic in which each participant will work on an idea that they will see grow and strengthen session after session, through a specific program," he adds.

Thus, on November 07, the day will consist of proposing a business model and obtaining clients. On November 08 the topic will be to develop the business plan. On the 09th, a commercial strategy will be drawn up and on the 10th, workshops will be held to prepare a final pitch. Finally, in the session on November 11, the complete work will be presented to a jury.

All sessions will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 13:30 p.m., except for the last one, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. For those students who participate and attend the workshops, they can acquire 1 ECTS credit. The number of places in the program is 40.

Despite what it might seem, attendance at Resident Entrepeneur is open to all types of public, without the need to take a particular degree, "since the essence of it is precisely that anyone, regardless of their degree of knowledge about entrepreneurship, can have access to the course and a correct understanding of it without the need to have some previous basic notions”, says Pablo Ramírez.

Both the courses and the final presentation will be held remotely at the Móstoles Business Incubator. The selection of the participants will be carried out by personal interview.

The registration application period, which began on Tuesday, will be open until November 5. The interviews to select the participants will be carried out in order of registration. To do so, you need to register at the following link X Resident Entrepreneur
