Today ends the registration period for the 'II Conference on Advertising Narratives', a seminar in which students will be able to learn from professionals in the sector the tools necessary for their employment

“Sometimes students ask us how to become creative, since they believe that it is a labor circuit with complicated access and many requirements. What we are looking for is to clarify these doubts and facilitate the access routes to the creative profession” explains Marta de Miguel Zamora, professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Sociology.

Next November 2 at 9:15 a.m., the 'II Conference on Advertising Narratives' begins, an event that hopes to give guidance and guidelines to students to focus their professional career on the area of ​​advertising creativity.

Unlike the first edition, which dealt with the corporate speeches of brands, this second will address the theme of the creative profession, approaching the experience and stories of professionals in the sector, essential in advertising creation.

The event, as its organizers assure, will be attended by leading speakers in the sector of creativity and strategy. “In addition to telling about their experience, they are going to propose activities to students so that they can develop their own portfolios or create their personal brand,” adds de Miguel. “They are professionals with a great teaching vocation and very interested in sharing their knowledge and experiences with the university community”

This activity, which will take place in the Hall of Degrees of the Departmental Building on the Fuenlabrada campus, is aimed mainly at advertising and public relations students. “We believe that it will be better received among the students of the last years of the degree, since they are the closest to labor insertion. However, registration is open to all students of the faculty who are interested in how to develop their professional career in the field of advertising creativity” justifies Marta de Miguel.

"The sessions will serve as motivation so that students know how to go to creativity positions and so that they have resources to design their portfolios with good and valuable ideas," the teacher ends by adding.
