Throughout the morning, in the Hall of Degrees of the Vicálvaro campus, the VIII Meeting of the University, Cooperativism and Social Economy in the Community of Madrid takes place

“This year, we will celebrate the 8th edition of this event and, we trust, it will be as successful as the previous ones, since it will be attended by members representing regional public institutions, the University and entities of the Social Economy, from various sectors, as well as students who are interested in this subject" express from fecoma.

With an attendance of more than 125 people, this activity has the mission of fulfilling several objectives: the main one, the collaboration between two relevant spheres, on the one hand, the university together with its educational community, and on the other, the cooperative movement and the Social Economy in the Community of Madrid. Second, to bring students closer to a movement that brings together more than 1.000 companies, and contributes a very high percentage to the GDP of the Community.

Eight professors from the Rey Juan Carlos University from various disciplines, including Economics, Law or Communication, will be present during the event. "The large panel of speakers scheduled for this meeting is very varied, since innovative topics will be presented from the point of view of Education, Employment and Technology", "they represent the entities of the social economy, and will transmit their practical and real experiences” explain from FECOMA. 

In addition, from the organization they assure that, although the activity is focused on students in the area of ​​social sciences in general, it will also be very enriching for those interested in movements that transform society based on companies that value people.
